Ferdinand Fox and the Lost Boy (3-6 yrs)

A heartwarming tale about bravery, unexpected friendship and helping others, for ages 3-6

Ferdinand Fox and the Lost Boy has been sitting in the virtual drawer for far too long and I am thrilled that the story is finally seeing the light of day. With the passing of years since the first two books, the time felt right for a style refresh and I am thrilled with Andrew Smith’s beautiful illustrations. I hope you and your children like them as much as I do!

Three more fox stories to come! 🦊🦊🦊

Ferdinand Fox and the Lost Boy is the third of six rhyming fox stories I wrote many years go when our boys were little. The first two: Ferdinand Fox and the Hedgehog, and Ferdinand Fox’s Big Sleep, offer gentle introductions to Ferdinand’s character and are firm favourites at school visits with children aged 3-5.

The remaining three stories, all great fun and continuing the ‘quiet hero’ theme that we see in Ferdinand Fox and the Lost Boy, are due out in 2025 and beyond. I can’t wait! 😊 🦊
