Why the collection now?
I’ve had three of these tales tucked away in my virtual drawer for years, waiting for the right time and the right artist to bring them to life. That changed last year when I was introduced to the hugely talented Andrew Smith, whose quirky style has, I hope you agree, a wonderful appeal across ages. 😊 The fit was perfect, and it felt like the moment to share the remaining stories while also refreshing the artwork for the original tales for slightly older readers.
Reading for pleasure
Reading for pleasure is at the heart of helping children grow as confident, curious readers, so bringing all six tales together in one collection felt like the natural next step. After all, who doesn’t love a good rhyme?
Perfect early-reader stories for ages 6–8 (and read-aloud fun for 5+).
